This is how it works. Take an ordinary right hand strat and give it to George and he will squeeze the last @#$%^ out of it. There are only a few guitar players, who play in a such way. A regular lefty, needs a lefty guitar. George takes a “righty” one and plays it with his left hand.

 

 

Most of the high pitched leads are done on high E string which would normally be on bottom of the neck but in George's case is on top. George has altered his pinky (made it longer) to reach those E7 tunes.
How about chords played upside down?
Righty guitarists, play next to a mirror, How those chords do look like? So far, I know one dude who play this way, Baby Face. If you know anyone else, throw me a bone please.
